growth mindset gives you better grades

Having a growth mindset can get you good grades well at least the grades you want for the simple fact that if you don't have a goal you won't really work has hard as you should . but when you have your mindset in a growth point of view you realize how important it is to have a goal or something , somewhere you want to reach. it all depends on the person how important education is to them trying your best will always pay off and your teachers will notice the effort your given and thats what matters .

Staking Our Class

I have been studying what a mindset is and how it works and let me tell you, it's pretty amazing how the brain works. In my strong opinion anyone who takes the time to learn how their body and mind works,  can grow out of a fixed mindset and develop a growth minds.  Once you develop strong goals and tasks for yourself, nothing or no one can tell you that you can't do something.  Anything is possible as long as you find it possible within yourself to build on your characteristics as an individual.

Diving Inside the Mindsets

One thing I found important about a claim in mindsets is that students need programs based on there learning level . they need to know that failing is okay but giving up is not trying its always important. That's why having a growth mindset matters. while a fix mindset creates an urgency to prove yourself over and over . this was sentence comes from a book I'm reading in class called mindsets. i agree with this claim because if you don't have a good mindset your not going to feel able to move on and make the best out of things.


After watching a video in class there was about 3 students who stood out to me in the video for the simple fact that i can connect to what they said when it comes to school and there mindsets of it . these kids were 15, and 16 years old and it remind me of the time in school were i couldn't seem to pass my classes and i was having a hard time staying on track in school . sometimes i would wonder what would it take for me to pass my class and stay on track , it was my mindset that i had to change once i sat down with myself i thought if i really want to become someone in life i must stay on a growth mindset . i woke up everyday with goals and dreams in my head thats what pushed me to finish high school .

failure , successful

how does failure look like ? good question failure is when someone does not make any good changes in there life to change the fact that they failed . someone who has failed is someone with no job no education and pretty much living in the streets or being 30 years old living with there mother . and if you do have a job its a job that sucks .


successful is such a beautiful word not that everyone in their life gets to see . everyone has a dream and goals to come true thats what  i call successful someone who made their dreams and goals come true who finished high school and college . they live on there own not in there moms house making all your dreams come true probably marry living in a house with your dream careers.


Reflection : as i saw the video the answers to i picked has changed somewhat in a way but its more questions then a answers . i agree if someone reads and learns different kind of things they can get smarter only problem is what if you born with a learning problem that makes you learn different then other people doesn't that make track you from learning as fast as someone else . but i do believe theres ways to fix that by developing new programs that can help people develop better learning programs. 

Grit

State a strong opinion you have about the state of public education in the Bronx i think that sometimes the public education doesn't think about the harder they make it for high school students the more the numbers of graduates will go down. taking state tests are very stressful and you have to remember about 10 months worth of school information . some kids are great with testing while some other kids are not so does that make there intelligence questionable ? because not everyone can handle sitting in a chair for 3 hours and taking a test that jeopardize there high school career. 



Girt is something that i guess some how everyone has in themselves because its something you can develop within yourself as long as you try and try your best angela duckworth did a well develop research based on this and i highly agree with everything she did . an IQ shouldn't tell the public education if your smarter then someone else by a test it takes more then that i believe , The students who tried hardest did the best, and the students who didn't try very hard didn't do very well angela once said . some students have a better mind set then others but a test shouldn't jeopardize there high school or college experience . each student learns in a different way so why should a judgement of a test make such an impact in a student educational life ? . 

Change one attribute or characteristic

if i was to change one attribute or characteristic about myself what would it be thats a good question. i think i'll change my attitude around and learn not to let things get me mad so fast. learn how to be an understandable person. but then again being nice doesn't always pay off because people use you and stuff. but learning how to be nice to the right people matter not everyone is mean . 

fail

There's a time in our life in which we fail at something i remember when i got the news that i wasn't going to finish high school on time i was highly upset but right there and then i knew i must step my game and look for a new school that will help me finish high school my mother has been my number one supporter through everything she hasn't let me down. in the summer of 2014 i looked for schools to my best of luck i found one i went in and took my paper work and got interview,  for the next couple after my school interview i kept looking for other schools going to summer school in my old school and going to work . one day my mothers cell phone rings and she picks up the school that first interviewed me picked me to start school with them on september . i was happy that i can enjoy the rest of my summer knowing that i got a new school and don't have to worry about it . for the next few weeks i went on vacation get away from all the stress i was going through my goal was to leave my bad high school experience behind september was a new clean slide for me to start fresh get my act together and do my best.

My name is Madeline but i rather be called madie i'm 17 years old turning 18 this month feb 26 , I'm on my last year of high school thank god because high school is sure not easy or fun but it would all be worth it with time. i mean i don't say much about myself because its no ones business to know me personally .
